Aline
de BRAUWERE

Encounter

Aline De Brauwere, a Belgian artist born in 1976, has been exploring the evocative power of images since her teenage years. Trained at the Fine Arts Academies of Uccle, Namur, and Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, she also enriched her practice at the Ateliers du Ban Eik in Wezembeek-Oppem and the Machri in Brussels.
His work combines painting, sculpture and mixed techniques, in a sensitive quest for balance between matter, emotion and imagination.

“Au rendez-vous du silence” is an ode to intimacy and refinement. An open book, a coffee placed on a richly decorated fabric, and time fades away. The work captures the understated elegance of these suspended moments, where luxury nestles in the simplicity of a moment of contemplation. A piece for aesthetes, those who know that true prestige lies in the art of detail.

Between Silence and Mystery
Inspired by everyday scenes, Aline De Brauwere reveals their hidden poetry. Through compositions that intersect acrylic, plaster, collages, and fragments of text, she creates a warm and contemplative universe. The hues—deep reds, intense blues—envelop solitary figures imbued with gentleness, suspended in an inner time.
Each work invites you to dream, between silence and mystery.
Her deeply intuitive artistic approach plays with textures and layering, blending abstraction, figuration, and surrealist bursts. She pays particular attention to the expression of emotions and the atmosphere of the fleeting moments she captures.
Alongside her painting, Aline develops sculptural work in wood, clay, and metal. Her organic and expressive volumes resonate with her canvases, extending the same poetic breath into space.
Committed to transmission, she leads workshops and participates in collective projects, generously sharing her perspective and practice. An artist in motion, Aline De Brauwere pursues a sincere and open research, weaving a link between the intimate and the universal.

Watermelon Sugar
“Sugar Baby” captures the essence of carefree luxury: a watermelon floating on crystal-clear water, frozen in a moment of purity and desire. Behind its apparent lightness, the work evokes the exclusivity of a suspended moment, where elegance meets the ephemeral. A unique piece for those who understand that true luxury resides in the moment.
