Aline De Brauwere, a Belgian artist born in 1976, has been exploring the evocative power of images since her teenage years. Trained at the Fine Arts Academies of Uccle, Namur, and Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, she also enriched her practice at the Ateliers du Ban Eik in Wezembeek-Oppem and the Machri in Brussels.
His work combines painting, sculpture and mixed techniques, in a sensitive quest for balance between matter, emotion and imagination.
“Au rendez-vous du silence” is an ode to intimacy and refinement. An open book, a coffee placed on a richly decorated fabric, and time fades away. Inspired by everyday scenes, Aline De Brauwere reveals their hidden poetry. Through compositions that intersect acrylic, plaster, collages, and fragments of text, she creates a warm and contemplative universe.
