Jac Dedoy, a Belgian multidisciplinary artist, has cultivated a fascination for image and sound since childhood. His first inspirations came from kaleidoscopes, the conquest of space and the underwater depths. At the age of ten, he discovered photography, thus marking the beginning of his artistic journey.
During his high school years, he refined his photographic technique. Although attracted to cinema, he finally chose to study psychology, while pursuing his passion for art. At the same time, he explored the world of sound and synthesizers, constantly seeking new sound experiences.
In the 1980s, he integrated the computer into his creative approach, experimenting with algorithms, random generators and image transformation. The arrival of digital photography then opened up new perspectives, allowing him to further explore image retouching and manipulation.
Over time, he also turned to painting. The sphere became a central element of his work, symbolizing both the universe and the depth of the human soul. His artistic approach, between reality and symbolism, questions the place of man in a world in perpetual evolution.
Among his iconic works are "Pages of My Life" and "Motif," aluminum prints that demonstrate his constant exploration of shapes and symbols.
Today, Jac Dedoy continues to innovate, mixing digital and sound art, and inviting the viewer to a deep reflection on our relationship to the world and to infinity.
